Of the original 40 masters, there are still 2 jaw harp makers in Molln today. The Schwarz jaw harp manufactory is the last full-time producer and exports the first-class Schwarz jaw harps to more than 40 countries worldwide.

Karl Schwarz has always endeavored to preserve and develop traditional jaw harp production, which makes it all the more gratifying that the Molln jaw harp has been officially recognized.

Incidentally, Ludwig Schwarz (1902 – 1979), Karl Schwarz’s grandfather, was the last chairman of the jaw harp makers’ guild in Molln.
